Tonight, we had dinner at Shokudo because the previous time I was there, I didn't have the chance to try their dessert crepes. So, with the intention to try the crepes for dessert, we went in for dinner.
There's a promotional card scheme going on, which is quite a good deal if you frequent Shokudo and their related outlets.
We ordered tsukune carbonara spaghetti and topped up $2 for adding bacon. The bacon though was really really crunchy and a really fragrant taste that mashed really well with the very delicious carbonara sauce. Actually, the tsukune carbonara doesn't come with bacon but I requested it and the kind chef said OK :) The tsukune was really nice and tender...
Also, we ordered pork chop with omu rice and topped up $2 for a bowl of curry. The pork chop was not bad but I don't like that it has some fats on it.
The curry was actually still OK only and had loads of carrots, which I loathe, so to me, it wasn't really worth topping up for.
Anyway, after the meal, both of us were too full to try the crepes. Haha. Lame right, but never mind... Dear dear promised to come back again for me to try the crepes.
Also, next to it, I found this place selling Tokyo fruit pies and all look really pretty and tempting
Don't the fruit pies look very sweet and tempting? Alas, these pretty ones on the right display shelf are fakes, only the right display shelves are real... BUT, both the real ones and fake display ones look really alike and I wasn't really paying attention at first and mistook the fake ones for real ones too, haha, mahlu! Thankfully, I didn't try to order the fake ones..
But then again, too full so we'll be back again to get the pies! Strawberries look really red and sweet!
After our meal, we went to the washroom beside Shokudo and
this so very much reminded me of our wintery Hokkaido trip.
Majorly craving for a vacation! I miss e high tech toilets in Japan...
